Sam Andrew is a ceramicist based in England creating a functional range inspired by time living in Japan, The Netherlands and Hungary. With a background in clinical Neuropsychology, and taught pottery since a young age by his mother, his work is designed through progressive experimentation and variation adjustment, exploring lines, excessive patterning and material reuse.
Sam handmakes each piece in small batches in his Manchester studio.
Selected by the UK Crafts Council for their 2016 Hothouse Programme.
